What Happens When Your Fertility Therapist Experiences IVF

For years I have supported clients navigating Fertility Challenges, supporting people through the highs and lows of infertility. I’ve held hands through heartbreak, celebrated victories, and witnessed the emotional rollercoaster of IVF, IUI, and natural attempts that didn’t go as planned. I am deeply familiar with the heartache of fertility challenges both in my own story, and in the many I have supported, but walking through IVF myself will be unique.

After ten years of infertility, my partner and I made the difficult decision to try IVF. After so long of navigating every ache that came with the complex experience of not being able to get pregnant and jumping through every hoop possible (except IUI and IVF), I feel both ready to try something new and to feel the natural vulnerability that comes with uncertainty and challenges of IVF.

I know people have the natural but unfair assumptions of what Therapists look like in vulnerable times? Well, assume no more! I’m Cassie, I’m going through IVF for the first time after a long, heartbreaking fertility journey; and I’m here to share honestly and vulnerably every step of the way.

Keeping it real between the hope and tears,

Cassie
